Client Communications Intern
Are you detail-oriented and interested in working in the development of data-driven client communications? Does working in the financial services industry sound exciting? Our firm is seeking a motivated, detail oriented and organized intern to join our Client Communications team in Louisville, KY. This internship offers valuable experience supporting the accurate preparation and delivery of client materials that clearly communicate complex investment information to our institutional client base around the globe.
Reports To: Director of Client Communications
Location: Louisville, KY
Work Arrangement: In-office
Status: Year-round, internship, part-time
Core Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of client-facing materials—including presentations, strategy updates, fact sheets, and other marketing collateral.
- Support the completion of standard quarterly and annual questionnaires for clients and consultants.
- Assist in coordinating internal review processes with teams such as compliance, performance analysis, and research.
- Assist in meeting preparation for client and prospect engagements by assembling and shipping materials.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and printing.
- Contribute to special projects—gaining exposure to a wide range of functions within client communications, business development, and the broader firm.
Requirements
Knowledge:
- Familiarity with basic financial or investment concepts (coursework in finance, economics, or business is a plus).
Skills & Abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel); familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud a plus.
- Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:
- Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, business, finance, or related field.
- Demonstrated interest in investment management or financial services.
- Strong work ethic, curiosity, and willingness to learn in a corporate environment.
- Prior internship, project, or academic experience in communications or writing roles is a plus.
