Under the direction of the Construction Manager, the Construction Inspection Apprentice assists in a variety of technical and administrative tasks essential to the successful completion of projects undertaken by the Public Works Department. Projects and tasks will be directly and indirectly related to construction. This position will learn essential skills, including interpreting plans, identifying defects, and understanding relevant codes and regulations. This is an entry-level work and temporary position.
High school diploma required. Applicants should be working towards a degree in engineering or construction. Must possess a valid driver’s license.
