Engineering Intern

Mechanical Product Engineering Intern.

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern. This position will be responsible for working within SolidWorks to model parts/assemblies.

What you will be doing:

• CAD design – Solidworks and AutoCAD.
• Engineering Documentation/Drafting
• Mechanical design of parts both static and moving parts in order to efficiently meet strength
• and functionality requirements.
• Product design.
• Manufacturing experience with metal products
• Identify, analyze, and control change requests.
• Ability to work with sense of urgency.
• Detail oriented.
• Will work closely with CPI Engineering to model parts for DriveWorks.

The skills and experience you need:

• High school or equivalent
• ME or MET Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Experience.
• Ability to work effectively within cross functional teams
• Ability to plan and execute.
• Ability to utilize MS Office software.

This role is located in Tulsa, OK.
