SUMMARY:

The Armstrong Company is a nationwide leader in relocation and storage services, offering tailored moving, logistics, and storage solutions for residential and commercial customers. With a focus on customer satisfaction and operational excellence, we support moves of all sizes across the country. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Intern to join our growing sales team. This role offers hands-on exposure to the sales process within the logistics, relocation, and storage industries. The intern will support lead generation, client outreach, proposal development, and CRM data management to help drive business growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in identifying and qualifying new sales leads through market research and outreach.
  • Support the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and pricing estimates.
  • Communicate with prospective clients via phone, email, and video calls to promote our services.
  • Help maintain and update CRM systems with accurate client and opportunity information.
  • Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure alignment between client needs and service capabilities.
  • Monitor and report on sales metrics and performance trends.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to sales strategy discussions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
  • Interest in logistics, transportation, or B2B sales.
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities.
