Are you looking for hands-on experience in tax and accounting? Our firm is seeking a Spring 2026 Tax & Accounting Intern to gain valuable industry knowledge while assisting individuals, small businesses, and non-profits with tax preparation, bookkeeping, and financial advisory services. This internship provides the opportunity to develop essential skills in tax compliance, accounting reconciliations, and client advisory work within a supportive and collaborative environment.
What You'll Do:
- Prepare income tax returns for individuals and small businesses.
- Assist with tax extension filings and quarterly estimated tax payments.
- Participate in tax training sessions to gain proficiency in industry-leading software.
- Review client documents and compile electronic tax workpapers to support filings.
- Reconcile accounts in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
- Maintain confidentiality of client and firm information.
- Support payroll and bookkeeping services as needed.
- Contribute to a team-oriented environment, learning from experienced tax professionals.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, willingness to learn tax software such as UltraTax CS, Practice CS, Accounting CS, etc
- Ability to analyze financial data, think critically, and solve problems.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong desire to learn and grow in the field of public accounting.
