Academic Tutoring / Enrichment Support / LINKS Intern / Maintenance / OT at WNEU

Description: Work with academic and enrichment teachers to support their summer teaching/ activities and provide additional tutoring to students in need.

Responsibilities depending on the position:

• Academic tutoring.
• Assist with academic organizing and planning.
• Assist with making copies.
• Assist with activity coordination.
• Assist with student work reviews.
• Mobility around the school facility
• Able to go up and down stairs
• Recycling as directed
• Ability to list up to 20 pounds
• Janitorial work
• Ability to follow directions
• Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies

Internship location: John J. Duggan Academy / Springfield Museum / Western New England University

Expected hours: varies depending on the student’s schedule and internship assignments not to exceed 16 hours per week.

Dates: Summer 2025 TBD 

Rate of pay: $15 dollars per hour.

Total number of students expected to hire: 7
