The Center for Courageous Kids (CCK) is a world-class medical camp which began serving children and their families in February, 2008. Since that time, our year-round camp programs have served over 40,000 campers from 46 states and 13 foreign countries. We serve children who typically would not be able to attend camp due to their illness and financial constraints. CCK provides respite and support for these ill children and their families and is designed exclusively for the use of an underserved medically fragile population. The children and families who attend CCK are able to experience activities like horseback riding, boating, fishing, rock climbing and bowling with no limitations or barriers. CCK family retreats and summer camp sessions are offered at NO COST to the children and families we serve.

The Center for Courageous Kids, Scottsville, Kentucky, has an immediate opening for a Summer Medical Intern. This individual will assist the full-time CCK medical staff in accomplishing daily tasks such as assessment, treatment of illnesses or minor injuries, documentation, medication passes, and camper-specific procedures.
