  •   What You'll be Doing:
    • Provide summer program support to summer staff and administration
    • Provides direct instruction under the supervision of the classroom teacher
    • Assists with recruitment and retention of summer program students
    • Work with small groups of students to support classroom instruction and activities
    • Assists in organization and participates at functions and in activities

    What We Offer:
    • Salary: $17.00 per hour 

    Job Details: 
    • Working days: 4 days per week / 23 Instructional Days plus 1 Staff Day, Total 24 Days
    • Hours per day: 5 hours 
    • Temporary for the 2024.2025 Summer School Program
    • Up to 10 tutor positions available
    • This position is designed for students who have completed the Teacher Academy program or for returning college students who are on the path to becoming educators.

    What You'll Need:
    • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Experience: Job related experience is desired. 
    • Minimum qualifications: Hold a high school diploma or its equivalent. Must have completed Teacher Academy through Grandview High School. Bilingual Preferred.

    Work Environment

    The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some climbing and balancing, some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and some fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 30% sitting, 35% walking, and 35% standing.  The job is performed under minimal temperature variations and in a generally hazard free environment.
