Position Description Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic, energetic intern who is eager to learn about our company by assisting various departments. You will be working closely with our team to conduct research, capture data, and attend meetings. To be successful as an Intern, you should be willing to help with any tasks assigned by a supervisor. You will be involved in upcoming projects as well as assisting with current projects and other duties as assigned by management.

  • Fulfills tasks as assigned by supervisors from departments.
  • Understands the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customers, goals, and all other aspects of service.
  • Provides professional services, under supervision of professional staff and/or faculty personnel, as appropriate to the day-to-day operating objectives of the unit.
  • Participates in projects and programs designed to develop professional skills and expertise appropriate to the needs of the organization.
  • Participates in the planning and implementation of unit projects and initiatives within area of expertise.
  • Interacts directly with colleagues, and/or other internal or external constituencies in the planning of assignments and the resolution of day-to-day operational problems.
  • Receives guidance, training, and mentoring from professional personnel in planning and carrying out activities and assignments.
  • As appropriate to the position, and as specified by unit management, conducts original research, and prepares reports based on findings, to include recommendations or alternative proposals for action.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Required Experience/Education:

  • Eager to learn and work with various departments in the company.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Cope well under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Security Clearance Requirement:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Experience: (i.e.: Knowledge, skills, abilities, software, etc.)

  • Experience working in an office environment is preferred.
  • Project planning skills.
