Internship Dates: August 25, 2025 - January 7, 2026 (*Subject to change / Flexible on start and end time)
Time Commitment: Full Time/40 hours per week 

Requirements (Please do not apply if you are unable to meet any of these requirements):
  • Must be a rising college junior, senior or graduate student
  • Must be able to receive course credit (since this internship is unpaid)
  • Able to work full time, in office (located in Nashville, TN)
  • Must be able to work December 26-31 (Music City Bowl)
  • Priority will be given to those that can also work August 31 (Broadway Block Party) and Jan. 1-7 (FCS Championship)

Internship Description:
Intern candidates will select their preferred department (Events & Operations, PR & Marketing, or Strategic Partnerships) for the semester and work with the department head throughout the semester. However, all internships are well-rounded and interns will be working on projects for all departments throughout the semester. All interns will receive live event experience and will play an active role in the planning stages of the Music City Bowl and FCS Championship.

Events and Operations Duties:
  • Have active role in event day execution and management of member events and large events, including the Broadway. Block Party, Music City Bowl, and NCAA DI FCS Championship.
  • Oversee each team manual for the SEC and Big Ten.
  • Assist with the overall strategy of Sports Council events by assisting with bids, site visits, research etc.
  • Have active role in event day execution and management.
  • Assist with the Nashville Sports Council volunteer program, including recruitment, training and outreach.

Strategic Partnerships Duties:
  • Assist with corporate and individual membership campaigns.
  • Assist with Bowl sponsorship renewals and fulfillment.
  • Update GlueUp CRM database for membership program.
  • Collect and manage RSVPs for member activities and events.
  • Assist with planning and executing Member Events and Young Professionals Events.

PR & Marketing Duties:
  • Assist with company website maintenance (NashvilleSports.com & MusicCityBowl.com) as well as social media platforms.
  • Assist with event marketing & communications plans.
  • Create social media calendars and assist with the digital marketing strategy for NSC & MCB.
  • Assist with marketing strategies through social media, e-marketing, and website promotion that support growth of our partner events.
