Job title: Intern – Training Camp

Essential Job Function:

 

Properly maintain current relationships with corporate partners and departmental personnel while focusing on the fulfillment of sponsor requests, customer service, client hospitality, sponsor activation, contractual obligations, etc. both by the sponsor and Club.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist with sponsorship activation execution at marketing programs such as Texans Training Camp, etc.
  • Responsible for fan interaction and handling premium items.
  • Assist with training camp-related projects (i.e., giveaways, contests).

 

  • Perform various other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by Event Experience Manager and other departmental leadership.
  • Subject to reasonable accommodations, position requires routine face-to-face personal interaction with other Club personnel; therefore, job responsibilities must be physically performed in the Club offices and not in a telecommuting manner.

 

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

 

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Completion or in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university preferred.
  • Previous part-time work experience preferred.

 

 

  • Must be detail-oriented and possess ability to work under pressure and with deadlines. 
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with multiple priorities.
  • Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communications.
  • Ability to maintain confidential and/or proprietary information.  
  • Job requires walking around and standing for prolonged periods of time in various Club premises in and around NRG Stadium and NRG Park, as may be assigned.

 

 

Physical Requirements:

 

  • Occasional travel related to job duties and responsibilities.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
  • Must be able to talk, stand, walk, sit, drive, bend, squat, climb, twist and reach as necessary.
