Job Summary

The Business Development/Sales Intern will support the sales and business development team in identifying new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and promoting the company's print production services. This internship provides valuable real-world experience in a high-performing sales environment and is ideal for students or recent graduates looking to build a career in sales, marketing, or business development.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with lead generation through online research, CRM systems, and outreach campaigns
  • Support the development of sales presentations, proposals, and marketing collateral
  • Participate in client meetings and calls to observe and learn effective sales techniques
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of customer interactions and opportunities in CRM
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support strategic initiatives
  • Assist with trade show preparation, follow-ups, and other sales events
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand print production capabilities and timelines
  • Perform administrative tasks and reporting as required by the Business Development Manager 
Requirements

Qualifications – Education, Experience, License/Certifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Prior internship or coursework in sales, marketing, or business is preferred
  • Must be 18 years of age or older and authorized to work in the U.S.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with CRM software is a plus
  • Interest in the printing industry and willingness to learn technical product details
  • Professional attitude and eagerness to contribute to a team environment

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Occasional travel to client sites or events may be required
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally for event materials or product samples
