(Full-time/Long-term Internship) 

 Hours Per Week: ~35 hours/week. (9am-5pm. Flexible on working hours/shifts to accommodate classes for current students.)

 Approximate Duration: June 2025 - Early/Mid 2026. (Our internships can last up to 11 months from the start date.) 

 Hybrid work schedule: Work 2 days in the office (Tuesday and Wednesday) and 3 days remotely. From September 1 to December 31: Work 3 days in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and 2 days remotely.

 Basic Function of the Position: 
The Consumer Technology Association has an internship opening in the Marketing and Communications department to manage projects and support the day-to-day activities of the CES communications team.

 Critical Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the executive and CES Communications teams.
  • Support CES 2026 projects and programs, including CES Media Days Press Conferences and Power Sessions, journalist hospitality, keynotes, and media tours, assisting with logistics, coordinating, and executing duties as needed.
  • Draft press releases, blog posts, briefing documents, media lists and pitches, messaging, photo captions, and other written communications materials.
  • Work internally and with agencies to build CES awareness among new audiences.
  • Lead media monitoring and reporting for the show and exhibitors.
  • Assist with exhibitor PR efforts, including materials, reviewing broadcast product submissions, and media briefing promotion.
  • Answer questions and provide customer service to CES media and other attendees as needed.
  • Support communications staff with research, webpage copy updates, and administrative tasks as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 Work Experience:

  • Self-starter with a global perspective who can work independently, complete projects with little supervision, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 
  • Work and/or internship experience in an office environment; marketing/communications/PR work preferred. 

 Education and Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate experience – Communications, Journalism or International Business/Marketing preferred.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills and have attention for detail.
  • Must demonstrate ability to efficiently handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, be customer/team oriented and have ability to work with all staff levels.
  • Must have a positive attitude and exceptional customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
  • Must pass CTA-administered writing test.

 Additional Information:

  • Travel to CES 2026 is required.
  • PAID Internship.
