PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

 

SAP Active Global Support makes sure that the core business processes of our customers run efficiently. We support more than 28,000 customers with about 100,000 installations worldwide. SAP Active Global Support helps our customers to reduce the total cost of ownership and maximize the return on investment of their SAP solutions.

 

As a Support Consultant, you will enable customers to implement and operate their SAP solutions efficiently by providing state-of-the-art support services. This includes the root-cause analysis of product and configuration issues and their resolution with the help of advanced tools, knowledge bases and remote connections to customer systems. In addition, you will be delivering packaged expert services to check and optimize system configuration & performance. You will collaborate closely with partners, as well as with various other SAP departments, like Consulting and Sales. You will be backed up by about 10,000 SAP developers worldwide that take care of creating patches and will work together with you in virtual teams to maximize SAP's value for the customer.

 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • CIC provides a central point of contact to assist customers with business process and functional queries relating to the SAP Support Portal including Navigation, Software Download and License Keys;
  • CIC helps customers to prioritize their incidents by evaluating the impact of the issue on their business and taking appropriate action;
  • CIC is the entry channel for Remote Service requests, handling the administration, pre-checks and booking of services where appropriate.
  • Every CIC support engineer will therefore receive relevant trainings to make himself ready for empowering customers to get the most from SAP support through proactive education, providing tailored info sessions and demos relating to the SAP Support Infrastructure, Incident Processing and Remote Service, etc.
  • You will work in a multinational team in close cooperation with experts from all over the world with a focus on supporting customers from global.
  • Next to knowledge and communication skills, proficiency in English and Korean language is key.

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Fluent in English, Japanese and Korean is a plus
  • Bachelor Degree or above. Computer science, engineering and relevant major is preferred.
  • Excellent soft skills
  • Open and professional communication style
  • Strong team player who learns and adapts quickly
  • Enjoy and derive satisfaction from direct interfacing with customers
  • Self-motivated and goal achiever without close supervision.

 

Travel: Ability and willingness to travel within China and overseas when needed

 

Work schedule: minimum 4 days a week for at least 6 months
