Ticket Sales and Box Office Internship Program

USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program and USA Hockey Arena seeks Ticket Sales and Box Office interns to join the game day staff for the 2025 U17 Four Nations (August 4-9) and the 2025-2026 NTDP Season (late September-mid April). This position offers an inside perspective of the ticket sales and box office operations at USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program, and an opportunity to gain valuable skills in the sports industry. Opportunities to work with other departments (communications, marketing, in-game promotions) will be available as well. Applicants selected for the position will be working in a fast-paced environment that requires attentiveness to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to react quickly and appropriately. 

Responsibilities Include: 
  • Work Team USA home games at USA Hockey Arena 
  • Assist with ticket sales staff to manage box office windows and day-of-game ticket sales 
  • Provide excellent customer service as the first point of contact for individuals attending USA Hockey Arena 
  •  Collaborate with marketing team on in-game promotions and activities, including selecting guests to participate in promotions and on-ice activities, as well as pre and postgame activities and provide in-arena tours 
  • Ensure a first-class and memorable experience for all fans at USA Hockey Arena 
  • Ability for additional office hours to gain experience in cold calling, research, and gameday planning

Skills and Qualifications: 
  • College student seeking a career in sales, marketing, business, communications, or sports management 
  • Preferred customer service experience (not required)
  • Familiarity with hockey preferred (not required) 
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task 
  • Ability to communicate and maintain a professional demeanor 
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude 
  • College credit for internship hours is available, along with letters of recommendation and networking throughout the sports industry
