Job Summary:
The Compliance Auditor is responsible for overseeing the Bank's compliance with regulations and ensuring adherence to internal financial controls. This position involves coordinating, conducting, and assisting in audits focused on internal controls, financial reasonableness, and regulatory compliance. The Compliance Auditor plays a key role in ensuring that the Bank maintains strong compliance practices, mitigating risks and upholding financial integrity.
Salary:
This position offers a competitive salary of $70,000 per year.
Essential Functions:
- Compliance Monitoring: Monitor the Bank's compliance with regulations regarding deposits, loans, and other banking operations.
- Audit Procedures: Implement audit procedures to ensure the Bank's adherence to all relevant regulations and internal policies.
- Audit Execution: Conduct and/or coordinate annual, quarterly, and monthly audit procedures, including preparing comprehensive monthly audit reports.
- Audit Coordination: Manage the coordination of annual audits and examinations with external auditors and regulatory examiners.
- Risk Assessments: Perform internal control and compliance risk assessments to identify potential areas of concern and improvement.
- Reporting: Assist in preparing internal and external audit reports for the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Training Coordination: Coordinate and deliver ongoing compliance training to ensure all annual requirements are met across the Bank's departments and functions.
Requirements (Education, Experience, and Skills):
- Education: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: Relevant experience in auditing, compliance, or banking operations is preferred.
- Skills:Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of banking policies and procedures.
- Familiarity with loan documentation requirements, including but not limited to consumer, installment, commercial, and real estate loans.

- Frequent repetitive motions such as typing and using a computer.
- Good visual acuity, talking, and hearing are required.
- Ability to travel to other locations as necessary.
