At Neighbor, our vision is to bring communities together by solving our neighbors’ biggest challenges. We’re building the largest hyperlocal storage marketplace the world has seen. We’ve raised over $65 million from top-tier investors such as Andreessen Horowitz and the creators of DoorDash, Airbnb, and Uber. Our marketplace is already flourishing in all 50 states and we’re just getting started! We are searching for multiple Marketing interns to dramatically expand our new Google Maps marketing channel. Interns will manage a pipeline of existing commercial partners and power hosts who want to post their Neighbor listings on Google Maps and will communicate with them directly to help through the process. These map pins will generate free, organic traffic and increase the hosts’ revenue on Neighbor. Interns will also find creative ways to optimize and improve Google Business Profiles to rank high on Google Maps. Interns are expected to work 20–40 hours per week during business hours and hit ambitious goals for the number of Google Business Profiles onboarded each week. They will work directly with the marketing team and learn unique techniques to drastically increase customer acquisition. Google Maps is poised to be one of Neighbor’s fastest growing customer acquisition channels and play a significant role in the trajectory of the company.
